How to Play:
- abilities are ON items are GONE.
- each character has a token for the board (thematically relevant to them).
- they somehow Know that the only way to escape is to play their way to the end. as in: they, as an individual, have to cross the finish line.
- there are two wheels: the PUNISHMENT WHEEL, and the SPIN THE BOTTLE wheel. the punishment wheel is to be spun if the character refuses or fails a task; if they wouldn't ICly spin it, they'll be compelled to do so (player choice as to how). The SPIN THE BOTTLE wheel is for deciding who has to do tasks with who. You're OOCly welcome to have cards themselves specify sometimes if you want!
- cheating will be PUNISHED ... by the player's OOC choice

I was free as a bird for all of two weeks before I got kidnapped to a world called Ellipsa. That was nearly seven months ago now. There's none of the team-sorting or game nonsense there that I've seen, so this ...

Yup! There's only been a couple of Capital I Incidents since I got there, so it's well on the way to winning some kind of "this is still annoying because kidnapping but as kidnappings go it really could be worse" award. Also I've got fire magic now. So that's cool.

But what about you, Aloy-san?

[Yeah, her gaze is focusing on that a lot. Not the most tactful outcast in the apocalypse, this one.]

Uh...Airi and I went back to Earth, as we know it. Taking some of the things we picked up have been handy, but there's still a lot to take care of.

[ On the bright side, it doesn't seem like the eye itself is damaged (anymore) (it was super damaged) (c'est la vie). Korone can absolutely tell that Aloy is looking at it ... kind of a lot ...

A gang of creepy, human-intelligent shadow monsters were hunting some kids through the winter wilderness. I killed a bunch, one of them got lucky, and then my dad showed up to finish the job [ Korone's pretty sure he committed a war crime or two in the process. ]

[ resolutely yet casually not letting any of her birth father-related trauma-drama show, which isn't as difficult as it could be when talking about Macaque is one of her favorite things to do these days ]

This one's freshly adopted! He's a super cool mystic monkey with incredible magical powers, but mostly he's a big ol' softie. I'd show you a picture if these jerks hadn't taken my phone. Super rude of them.

Ah! How'd you guess? Donnie — he's with me and Eve in Ellipsa — met him first, and everything kind of snowballed from there.

We were playing around with my shield magic! I can make different types, but the fancier they are, the less damage they can take before they start to fail, you know? Macaque's really, really strong, ridiculously strong, so he's perfect for those kinds of experiments.

[She. sratches her forehead. Hmm.]

So you shielded it and he overcame it?

[Poor toaster, if true.]

Eventually! [ It was SO COOL, ALOY. ] It was - I guess you can call it one of my stealth-boosting shields. Makes whatever's shielded harder to hear or see, more like a layer of armor than a traditional shield-y shield.

There wasn't much left of the toaster after, but we managed to rebuild it anyways. Kinda. ... Ish.

Sounds like you had a good time. Just hope you could get a new toaster.

[Resource scarcity sucks.]

Another point in Ellipsa's favor: there's no resource scarcity. There's so much stuff there. All the time!

There's also capitalism, which is, um, less great, but!
